Enjoyed this restaurant so much. The food was so good! The chicken in the nachos had so much flavor. It says it serves 4, but 6 of us shared it and it was plenty if you are ordering an entree too. My husband and I shared the baby back ribs and they were so tender and had tons of meat on them. We are from Texas and the ribs put our ribs to shame. We would definitely return. The staff was nice. Not extremely personable but friendly enough. We spent $50-$60 a person but we ordered beers too.
If you like blue moon this is the place to go to in VA beach. They were short staffed when I went. Our server was the bartender. She was holding it down. The food and drinks were good. If I went there again I would sample all the different blue moons.
We had a really great team dinner at Blue Moon TapHouse tonight for a group of about 40 people. I worked with Courtney A. In events to coordinate everything, and she was fantastic. She helped us put together an option that fit our budget, created a custom menu for the group, incorporated in our alcohol per person, and even added our company logo to the menus at each place setting, which was such a nice touch! Our servers, Kali, Ryan V., and Janese, were all wonderful—professional, friendly, and on top of everything. The food came out quickly, tasted great, and everyone seemed really happy with their meals, my chicken fingers tasted homemade and were not too breaded. Top notch. We ordered dessert for the tables and those all got finished. I’d definitely recommend Blue Moon TapHouse for a team event or large group dinner in Norfolk.

The drinks can speak for themselves, but the service is the cherry on top. Courtni and Kim were so amazing and they both helped us find new drinks we like! Kim made us the "pinkity drinkity", ask for it!! Courtni is really good at surprising you if you don't know what you want, just tell her if you want it sweet or sour - or if you have a liquor preference. We had so much fun and we were laughing the whole time lol We're definitely coming back just to see them again!!
I stopped in while I was in town and had a really good experience. The service was absolutely fantastic. The hostess was very sweet and seated me at a table with good back support after I mentioned my back pain, and my waitress was friendly, polite, attentive, and genuinely pleasant throughout the meal. I started with the fried cheese curds. They were good, although they were definitely on the greasy side and quite a bit of the cheese had blown out during frying. That said, the flavor was excellent, and the squeeze of lime really tied everything together. I’d probably order them again. For my entrée, I had the Blue Crab Mac & Cheese, and that was the highlight of the meal. The crab was sweet, there was a generous amount of it, and the cheese sauce was silky smooth instead of thick or congealed. Everything worked really well together, and I’d absolutely order it again. The restaurant itself has a clean, modern feel. It’s bright without being overly loud or harsh, the dining room feels open and spacious, and it was a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a meal. I’m not much of a beer drinker, so I can’t really comment on that side of things, but based on the food, atmosphere, and especially the service, I’d have no problem coming back the next time I’m in the area.
